Maintenance + Callouts Plan
Other companies claim to offer full maintenance plans, but the experience is very different.
How do others do maintenance?
They decide how much maintenance you need.
Generally, 3 visits a year, around 12 - 30 minutes each (assuming they show up).
They claim to give unlimited callout hours.
Any time you have a power outage, vandalism, improper usage, running on arrival, or a host of excluded items, you get billed at an exorbitant rate.
They claim all parts are included.
They can deem almost any part obsolete to keep them from covering it.
How does the 309 Elevator maintenance + callouts plan work?
We customize each unit’s needs and make a task list for that specific unit based on make and model.
Have a plan of action for each visit, allowing our technicians to bring the proper tools and equipment needed to perform maintenance efficiently.
Together, we decide on a budget for parts each year.
Most units don’t need more than $200 in parts a year, the majority parts that fail are small and not very costly. However, we can raise or lower this budget depending on your needs.
It is no big deal if you go negative in the parts budget. You pay for the parts used.
Together, we decide how many callout hours you need in a year.
If you have callout hours in the bank, you don’t pay for calls regardless of the call. For example, if someone kicks a hall door out of the sill, you don’t pay a dime if you have callout hours in the bank.
You have 20 hours in the callout bank. It takes the technician 4 hours to repair the door. (20 - 4 = 16) You now have 16 hours in the bank and don’t pay a dime for the repair.
If you go negative on hours, it is no big deal. You pay a reduced rate specified in your contract.
You can roll over the left-over callout hours and parts budget for the next year or discount it to a project related to your elevator.
If you sign another year's contract, any remaining callout hours and parts budget are left in the bank roll for the next year or can be discounted to a project.
We guarantee your maintenance visits, if we miss a visit we will schedule a time to make it up or you don’t pay.
If you go over callout hours, they are billed at a reduced rate specified in your contract.
Overtime is billed at $300 an hour
Each year, we will reevaluate your need for callout hours and parts.
The big companies have become insurance companies reassuring you that your unit is covered for the worst-case scenario, but in reality, don’t cover much of anything or give you maintenance.
309 Elevators is an Elevator Service Company not an insurance company, you get what your pay for with no false promises!
